The Production Engineer provides daily technical support to plant operating personnel in order to maintain the safe, reliable, and efficient operations of a production facility. Key areas of emphasis are environmental health, and safety (EH&S) performance, product quality, maintaining & optimizing operation costs, and all aspects of plant technical performance such as yield, energy efficiency, and asset utilization.
The Process Engineer supports capital project teams, production plant personnel, improvement personnel, and other technical teams by offering specialized process engineering expertise (such as steady state modeling, dynamic modeling, and advanced chemical engineering technology) to these teams.
The primary role of the Maintenance/Reliability Engineer is to provide engineering support to solve mechanical related plant issues that adversely impact production over a short period of time. In this role, the engineer provides technical expertise which may be either equipment or repair technique based, to improve the availability and maintainability of the production facility. The reliability role involves increasing the mechanical reliability of equipment in the assigned production units. This is done by providing reliability engineering support in close coordination with the production unit leaders, the technology improvement group, plant operations personnel and the site central maintenance group.
The Improvement Engineer will apply technical skills to initiate and assist in the development and execution of plant improvement and optimizations projects. This role works very closely with local production plant personnel, yet is part of a larger global technology organization.
Majority of the positions for Manufacturing & Engineering are expected to be available in locations such as; Louisiana, Michigan and Texas. Other limited positions may exist at other small sites in the United States.

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a 2.700 GPA is required.
Graduation date between December 2017 and August 2018.
